Dear campus community,

I am sharing with you a report on the two town halls and the safety walk we held on campus last week. One town hall was with faculty, staff, and students. The next day we held one with parents of current students, including incoming first-year students.

All three events brought the community together to discuss our shared goal of maintaining our campus as a safe and welcoming place for our faculty, staff, students, and visitors, as well as fostering tighter bonds with our Brookland neighbors in our common work of promoting peace and harmony.

Below you will find a written report on the three events, a highlight video of the town hall held on campus with faculty, staff, and students, and the slides we presented at both town halls that outline our Action Plan going forward.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the events last week. Nothing gives me greater hope than to see our community come together to address an issue that is important to all of us.

Sincerely,

Peter Kilpatrick
President
